Everything all in one place

I love that I get to be part of the journey for each family I work with, and capture their joy, excitement, sweet cuddles, and pure love. It's an honor to be chosen to photograph such a brief blip of a family's life and I don't take that for granted. Instead of blithering on about how happy I am to be a family photographer, I want to walk you through my process, show you some of my work, and let you decide if you think we'd be a perfect fit.

The families I connect with best are ones that love going on adventures, having new experiences, and aren't afraid of an honest photo showing exactly who they are as a family. Scrunched noses, wispy hairs, silly faces and all. Those moments in between, the ones where you show who you really are, those are the moments I love to capture. And those are the moments my families love to see in their albums and on their walls.

Family PHotography

I know from experience that being pregnant can be hard, my pregnancy with Violet (my second baby) was so tough on my body that I'm still healing from it 4 years on. But I also know that it's only a brief blip of your life and you may really regret not getting your maternity photos taken (ask me how I know this...) So while you may be on the fence about maternity photos, let me tell you it's the best gift you can give your future self and children. I want to show you how beautiful you are.

And once your baby is here, let's make sure to capture that scrunchy nose, the sweet smiles, those squishy toes and tiny fingers. We'll spend some calm, quiet time getting all the snuggles you'll love to look back on. I believe the sweet spot for newborn photos is around 4 weeks into their life because baby's little personality is starting to shine, mama has had some time to heal, and everyone is settled into a good routine. So let's get planning!

Maternity + Newborn PHotography

I feel like I'm dating myself here, but back when I was a senior (in the stone age apparently) most senior photos were simple and in a studio. Now with the digital photography era, senior photos have become a way for teens to express themselves and have fun while doing it! I love working with seniors who have a solid grasp on who they are and aren't afraid to get a little silly.

Do they have an artistic soul and want to go into the woods at dusk with a lantern? I'm down. Do they want to go for a hike in the woods and wear their favorite band's t shirt? Let's go! Are they looking for a sweet session in a field of wild flowers? I'm here for it! It's a classic for a reason. Basically I want to make sure this investment in your senior gives you the photos you want to hang on your wall, while also honoring the person you've watched grow into an amazing human. Senior photos shouldn't be stuffy, inauthentic, or boring. They should be a reflection of that cool teenager you love.

Senior Photography

My favorite thing about working with couples is being a part of their beautiful and unique love story. And before you ask, no, you don't need a reason to book a couples session! You are allowed to just want to celebrate your partnership and capture this moment in time. I LOVE helping couples plan a fun date night, where I just happen to be a third wheel for a bit. I encourage everyone to choose a few spots they love to visit, then once the session is over, keep the date going.

As with everything I do, I don't want this to be a chore for anyone involved, so my main goal is to make sure everyone is having a great time, laughing a lot, getting a little silly, and ending up with amazing memories to look back on. So, why don't you let me be your third wheel, I swear it'll be worthwhile.

Couples PHotography

Your photos should be a reflection of who you are as a person and what your business stands for. And I can guarantee you that you are not a boring person, so why would you want boring photos?! I'm a huge fan of providing unique photos, headshots included, for my branding clients. We work together to make sure you have photos that represent not only your professional life, but also your personality.

To do this I spend time with you either on the phone or in person to decide what your business needs are. For example, are you updating your website? Or do you need a refresh of your marketing materials? I'll help craft your perfect branding session to cater to your specific needs. I will be there with you every step of the way, and help guide you with wardrobe, set ups, locations, props, and beyond. In other words, we're a team.
